COMPLETED RESEARCH
1. Improving Health and Nutrition of the Community Women Health Providers to enable them to be a more effective agent of change. The project was funded by USAID, to explore and develop models for investing in improving the nutrition and health of women health care providers (WHP) by expanding their roles as community reference points and enhancing their effectiveness in the community. The project started May 2004 and was completed September 2005.

2. A National Study of the Sanitation and Hygiene in Primary Schools in Uganda, Funded by SIDA and UNICEF, the study carried out a situation and trend analysis of sanitation and hygiene in primary schools since 1997. Special reference was made to the achievement of MDG and sector goals. It established the enabling and constraining factors for the improvement of sanitation and hygiene. It also developed a framework for a five year programme of sanitation and hygiene in primary schools. It was started in July 2005 and completed February 2006. CHDC was the Consultant on this.

3. Examining Implications of Providing HIV Test Results at Home as well as in Mobile units in a Survey Context in Uganda
Funded by USAID/Macro International Inc, the CHDC was in charge of the qualitative part of the study, commenced February 2005 and completed January 2006.
